Trusted Home Care Providers
Care to Continue® is different from most home care providers because we go the extra mile to attract, screen, and retain the very best caregivers. We call this the Caregiver Secure™.
It is incredibly difficult to become a Care to Continue® caregiver. We have a rigorous hiring process that includes a 50 state background check, a pre-employment drug screen, multiple verifiable references, an intensive Care to Continue® training program, CPR certification, first aid certification, and requirements for licensure verification in order to perform home care services. Finally, all Care to Continue® caregivers are bonded and insured.
Partnering with the Red Cross
Our Executive Director, Tyler Jefcoat, is a certified Red Cross Family Caregiver Trainer, and he often holds workshops designed to teach family members in the Athens area about home care and how to be better caregivers in their own homes. All Care to Continue® caregivers are required to participate in this comprehensive training to help ensure that their home care knowledge meets our standards.
Our approach to caregivers has three key elements
Focus on long-term relationships.
We take care of our caregivers so they can take better care of you. We have a “family-first” culture where family includes yours and ours. By treating our caregivers with the same respect and compassion as our clients, we hope they will be better able to serve you and your loved one.
Thorough screening of caregivers.
Our team at Care to Continue® undertakes a rigorous screening process for each of our caregivers to ensure that we provide individuals with the best and safest home care services.
Focus on safety and security.
We understand that nothing is more important than trusting the person with whom you entrust the care of your loved one. Our “Caregiver Secure” program ensures that you can rest easy knowing that our family is taking care of yours.
